Saturday in the House :: Beaches, Beaches, Beaches

JAMbertO here again. And if you didn't come to Miami for music, you came for beaches, beaches, beaches. We have a couple token shots here from beautiful Miami Beach. Scanning the horizon of good looking ladies and gentlefolk, we see some interesting sights.

Gorgeous blue waters, beautiful people developing skin cancer, fly bys for electronic music events.

There is something known as overdone. And this gentlemen, whom we caught several times each day running the loop around the beach wearing nothing but a thong. If you notice, his legs are probably the size of my torso. What a beast.

Even newscasting here at Miami is not complete without a little topless action. It's awesome to know that somewhere in this world, there are people who are comfortable bearing it all.

We had a little run in with a couple blondes who had trouble parking. First, they asked us to move the RV forward to accomodate their parallel parking job, which to our dismay meaning parking their Mercedes Benz in a 20 foot space behind us. After some exchanges of kind words, she gave it her best shot, which by any measure (as N8 kindly points out) was a little over regulation. Just to be fair they were further out into the lane than our boat RV with its expandable side wall fully extended.

WMC One Liners :: Presented by JAMbertO

As one quickly finds out, Miami is the home of visual one liners. It's all about looks and when you get down to it, there are some priceless one liners that need to be shared with our hometown folks from the West Coast. Let's just take a quick peek at what we've come across:

Exhibit A: Smoke Screen in a Bottle. We didn't get the full demonstration on this product, but the word on the street is that if you need to make abscond due to unfavorable circumstances, don't leave without a little dosage of Smoke Screen in a Bottle.

Exhibit B: While searching for body cleansing products, we came across this little product -- placenta branded shampoo. It brings you back to the womb.
Exhibit C: Chocolate Balls. I can't say I'm much of a Chocolate fan but this is very enticing. Personally I'm more into Cheese Balls, tennis balls, and dancing balls.

Exhibit D: Big Pink is a nice little family eatery on the corner of Collins Ave. A good hearty place to take your family for say Sunday brunch. We didn't make it out to this one but upon second thought we might have to go back for a meal at Big Pink.

RV Fever

Many of you have asked about this whole RV thing... We're not currently sponsored or anything but perhaps we'll consider this plug a freebee for El Monte RV. Check out the 4 wheels of terror we're rocking this year:

http://www.elmonterv.com/vd-14.aspx

It says it fits 3 Adults and 3 Children -- we'll have to draw the line and keep it 18 and over.

The Scout is Now Deep in Enemy Territory

That's right. This 3 finger toting Cloober has now left the building. JAMbertO blogging here. First things first. While we're on the subject of history, let's talk a little about the history of Cloob Radio and its humble origins in Miami WMC 2006.

Flashback...
"Do you realize we're parked across the street from Nikki Beach, the home of the Defected House Party? That's crazy."

"How much do you want to bet I can open a can of tuna with a fork?"

"How many segways does it take to cross the road?"

"Smoking and spinning. CJ Mackintosh will show you how at Amika for the MN2S party."

"What, am I fistpumping 2 feet away from Gabriel & Dresden? Ain't that the truth."

----

And yes, Cloob was born. Weighing at least 10lbs. straight from the womb. A little blind and dumb at the beginning but soon blossomed into a 30 foot RV with 3 strapping Cloobers. A mobile DJ setup and an undying love for dance music.

We've doubled in size this year. 2RVs. 6Cloobers. 400Watts of sound. We're stepping it up. Now with Cloob Radio on our banners we are ready to have another blast. A lot of things to look forward. First this blog will keep you up to date with all of WMC activities and reflections. We will put out some mixes and give the streaming radio a shot. Got our new logo and website coming shortly hot off the press and lots of people to meet.

No Miami trip would be complete without a redeye flight. JAMbertO's off to catch a flight to Las Vegas and then to Miami. What better way than to go from sin to lust.

Over and out.

The ghost of Cloob past

Bored? Lonely? We understand.

Why don't you check out all the revelry, shenanigans and assorted debauchery from last year's First Annual (or Inaugural, for those in the know) Cloob assault on Miami WMC: http://inthecloob.blogspot.com.

There's plenty of stuff to keep you entertained as we work on the last-minute trip preparations, i.e. the packing that we desparately need to be doing instead of posting to the trip blog.

Speaking of which...

Welcome to the Cloob Radio blog!

We'll be coming to you live from Miami WMC 2007 in just a few hours. Stay tuned!
